Steps for a successful NBI Conference Weekend
Register ASAP to reserve your space in any workshops or conferences.
Presenters MUST register by Oct 25th to secure their space. Registration costs increase to $35 after Oct 25th.

Hyline Cruises: 1hr ferry from Hyannis, MA
Steamship Authority: 1 or 2 hr ferry from Hyannis, MA
Cape Air: Flights from Hyannis or Boston to Nantucket
*For those coming to the conference for just the day (14 November), we strongly recommend that you take the Hy-Line Fast Ferry departing Hyannis at 6:30 am and departing Nantucket at 7:20 pm. The ferry dock in Nantucket is an easy 10min walk from the Nantucket Hotel and Resort.

The Nantucket Hotel and Resort (Conference Day Location) 20% Discount for Conference Attendees - just mention the NBI Conference. They have waived their 2-night minimum!

Prep your talk or poster
Each oral presentation will last 15 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for questions and transition. Since there will be ~ 20 oral presentations, Session Chairs will be very strict about this time allotment! All presentations are to be in PowerPoint and compatible on a PC.

Poster presentations should be no larger than 2.5ft x 3.5 - 4ft. Posters have to be mounted so they can be placed on easels. NBI will supply poster boards (2.5ft x 3.333ft) and the easels. If you wish to have a much larger poster, you must bring your own poster board. Please note that larger poster boards cannot be purchased on island.
